What a task is, and what you get back
One brief in, one thing to review out: a document, a one-page website or a code file.
A task is one brief in and one result out. After you agree the brief, the employee writes the result in a separate pass, and it appears on Tasks for you to review.
What a task can produce
- A written document: a plan, copy, a spec, a report.
- One self-contained web page, shown in a live preview you can open full size, with its code.
- One code file.
What a task can't do
- Publish, deploy or send the result anywhere — you take it from Vott yourself.
- Work with your files or systems directly: the employee sees only the brief and your chat, so paste in what they need.
- Make images.
- Build a site of several pages — that is being tested on a few accounts only.
How it counts
Each task counts once against your plan, including its 3 rounds of changes; after those, a change needs a new task. A task that fails isn't counted. See What counts against your plan.
