Refund policy
Effective date: 21 October 2026. Paid plans are not on sale yet. Questions: legal@vott.work.
In short
- You can cancel at any time. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you have paid for, and you are not charged again.
- 30-day money-back guarantee on your first payment for a paid plan.
- If a renewal charge surprises you, tell us within 7 days: if you have not used the new cycle, we refund it in full.
- Unused add-ons can be refunded within 14 days.
- None of this limits the rights the law gives you.
1. Who handles refunds
We do. Paid plans are not on sale yet; once they are, refunds go back to the payment method you used.
2. Money-back guarantee on your first payment
If Vott is not right for you, ask for a refund within 30 days of your first payment for a paid plan and we will refund that payment in full. You do not need to give a reason.
The guarantee covers the first paid subscription of each customer — one person or one organisation — once. It does not cover later renewals, upgrades or add-ons, which are covered by sections 3 and 4.
3. Renewals
Paid plans renew automatically until you cancel (see our Terms of Service, section 4). If you forgot to cancel and you contact us within 7 days of a renewal charge, we will refund that renewal in full, provided you have not used any of the new cycle's tasks or minutes. Otherwise, a renewal is not refunded, except as section 5 or the law provides.
4. Add-ons
One-off purchases of extra tasks or minutes can be refunded within 14 days of purchase if none of them have been used.
5. When the problem is ours
If the Service is unavailable for a long period, or we materially fail to provide what you paid for, contact us and we will refund or credit the affected period fairly. If we discontinue the Service, we refund any fees you prepaid for the period after it ends.
6. Cancelling
You can cancel at any time, online and without contacting us: use "Cancel plan" in Settings, under Billing. Cancelling stops future renewals. Apart from the cases above, we do not refund the unused part of a billing period when you cancel, but your plan stays active until that period ends.
7. Your statutory rights
Nothing in this policy limits a refund or withdrawal right the law gives you. For example, consumers in the EU, the UK and some other countries have a statutory right to withdraw from an online purchase within 14 days. That right can end earlier once you start using a service you asked to receive immediately; checkout tells you how it applies to your order.
8. How to ask for a refund
Email support@vott.work from the address on your Vott account. We aim to answer within 2 business days. Once a refund is issued, it usually appears on your statement within 5 to 10 business days, depending on your bank.
9. Chargebacks
Please contact us before disputing a charge with your bank — we can usually sort it out faster. While a chargeback is open, we may pause paid features on the account.
