Cookies and tracking
Visits are counted without cookies. Google Analytics and recordings of the public pages run only if you accept them.
- Vott uses no advertising cookies.
- We count visits to our public pages with our own statistics tool, on our own server. It sets no cookies, writes nothing to your browser and keeps no IP address. The app's screens after you sign in are not counted, and neither is a visit from a browser that sends Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track.
- Only if you accept in our banner: Google Analytics, with its own cookies, and recordings of how you use the public pages — clicks and scrolling, with what you type hidden. Nothing is recorded after you sign in. Change your answer any time under Cookie settings.
- A cookie keeps you signed in.
- When you pick a language, a cookie remembers it for a year and tells our server which language to open.
- Your browser's own storage keeps things such as the theme, this tab's open conversations and unsent messages, the last call mode and an anonymous id. It stays on your device.
The Privacy policy lists them in section 11.
