Phones, tablets and browsers

Vott runs in the browser on a computer, tablet or phone — there is nothing to install. Calls and voice messages need your microphone.

  • Use the current version of your browser. There is no app to install.
  • On a phone, the list of employees in Chat becomes a row of faces at the top, and the chat beside a call moves under it.
  • A microphone button appears only if your browser can record sound. If you don't see it, try another browser.
  • Calls connect over WebRTC. A strict office network or a VPN can block it; another network or browser usually works.

Allow the microphone

  1. The first time you press a microphone button, the browser asks for permission. Choose Allow.
  2. If you refused by mistake, click the icon to the left of the address in your browser, set the microphone to Allow for vott.work, and reload the page.

Vott never turns on your camera. On a video call you see the employee; nobody sees you.

Still stuck?
