How long a call can last

A call lasts at most 15 minutes, and less when you have fewer minutes left. An employee who hears nothing for 3 minutes leaves.

  • One call ends after 15 minutes, on every plan. Start a new one to carry on.
  • If an employee hears nothing from you for 3 minutes, they say goodbye and leave. On a call with several employees only the one on the big stage hears you, so the others can leave after 3 minutes; click a seat to talk to that person.
  • A call also ends when the minutes of that kind you had left are used up, and the page says “You've used your video minutes for this cycle…” (or voice minutes). Everyone on air uses them at the same time: with 10 minutes left and three employees on air, the call ends after about 3 minutes 20 seconds. When someone joins or leaves, the end moves to match.
  • With no minutes of that kind left, a new call won't start.
  • Demo accounts have shorter calls and a daily limit.

When a call ends by itself, the page says: “The call with … ended: it reached its time limit or the connection closed.” Minutes come back at the start of the next cycle — see When tasks and minutes reset.
