What's new in Vott in October 2026: calls, chat, languages
The site in Russian and Kazakh, a public help center, voice-only calls, tasks given on a call and employees who know your name: the main changes of October.
October brought Vott's site in two more languages, a public help center and a run of changes to calls and chat. Everything below is live on vott.work as of 21 October 2026, and each item links to the help article that describes how it works now.
The site in Russian and Kazakh
The home page, the app's screens, the help center and the legal documents now come in English, Russian and Kazakh. Switch in the account menu under your initials, with the language menu on the sign-in pages, or with the tab at the right edge of the public pages. The Russian and Kazakh site shows prices in tenge. More in our post about the two new languages and in Change the site language.
A public help center
The help center is open to everyone, signed in or not: 63 articles in each of the three languages, with screenshots, on chat, calls, tasks, plans, your account and your data. Search it with a short word like “password” or “minutes”.
Calls
- Voice-only calls. Next to Go live, choose Video or Voice. A voice call shows no faces, only names and bars that move as they speak, and uses voice minutes rather than video minutes. See Video or voice-only call.
- Tasks on a call. Describe the work, the employee reads the brief back in one sentence, and the task is created only after you say yes. See Give a task during a call.
- What you say on a call reaches the employee's notes. After a call, the employee now writes notes from what was said aloud, and Activity shows a Call summary when something was remembered. No audio, video or transcript is kept. See What happens after a call.
- A call with several employees ends when your minutes do. Everyone on air uses minutes at the same time, so with 10 minutes left and three employees on air, the call ends after about 3 minutes 20 seconds; the end moves when someone joins or leaves. See How long a call can last.
Chat and your profile
- Stop the reading. While a reply to a voice message is read aloud, the microphone button shows a speaker: press it to stop. See Send a voice message.
- A blocked microphone says so. If the browser blocks the microphone, there is none, or another app holds it, the line under the message box now tells you, with what to do next.
- Employees know who you are. The Full name and Company you save in Settings under Profile now reach every chat and call, so employees know what to call you and who they work for. A change applies from your next message or call. See Edit your profile.
- Build your team on the Dashboard helps you pick who takes a job and how you will talk. Your picks stay in this browser and don't change your plan. See The Dashboard, tile by tile.
Documents, prices and the look
- The legal documents are published: Terms, Privacy policy, Refund policy, Acceptable use and Subprocessors. Signing up now starts with ticking I agree to the Terms and the Privacy Policy…. See Create an account.
- Prices on the English site now say “+ tax”: $39, $149 and $449 a month. Paid plans still aren't on sale: their cards in Settings say Opens when payments do, and nobody is charged. The free plan, Meet the team, has 1 task, 5 voice minutes and 2 video minutes a month. See Plans and what each one includes.
- A new logo: the vott.work wordmark on the site and in the emails that confirm your address or reset a password, and a “v.” icon in the browser tab.
Try it with your own task
The free plan includes one real task, 5 voice minutes and 2 video minutes. No card needed.
